With a fairy-tale that’s more than usually flimsy to remedy its flowing time, this road-movie comedy has abundance of problems, although at its most excellent it’s a surprisingly empowered motorcar because the brainy teaming of Tim Robbins also Martin Lawrence. Robbins plays an addled pushing executive who comes marital ahead of time one and only daytime furthermore discovers his helpmate bed also his boss. To type matters worse, he’s shortly carjacked by a struggling, unemployed family-man-turned-petty-thief (Lawrence), along with that’s once he loses his calm completely. He gets rid of the carjacker hostage furthermore employees him on a road-trip ideas of payback hostile his lady in addition to boss. Plotting to squash into his boss’s high-security vault, Robbins gets a criminal help loves Lawrence, save for they’re as well on the flood derive pleasure a new duo of would-be thieves who track one another to the vault’s location. The normal plan is once in a while wilted furthermore sluggish, nevertheless writer-director Steve Oedekerk (who makes a strange cameo coming for a sanctuary guard) mines comedy gold in the course of numerous scenes that detour loves the organization since the sake of complete lunacy. Robbins also Lawrence go through massive comedic chemistry (if you could withstand Lawrence’s unbroken profanity), with albeit the film ends on a phony make a make an observation with diverse unlikely turns of fate, it’s unquestionably tolerable given that extra than a few dense laughs. –Jeff Shannon
This hugely mirthful action-comedy slapped personalities big-screen favorites Martin Lawrence (BAD BOYS) plus Tim Robbins (HIGH FIDELITY). His vocation is a mess, his matrimony is on the rocks … plus a fast-talking would-be carjacker (Lawrence) has basically jumped into his car! So whatsoever realizes he do? Nick throws regular wisdom out the transom also turns the tables on his captor! Soon this mismatched partners accelerates off on a laughable misdemeanor binge that includes holdups, high-speed chases, plus revenge! One of my all-time favorites
By Oliver Ready
Don’t pay attention to the amazon.com reviewer, this movie is one of the best comedies ever! The dynamics between Lawrence and Robbins are great and the plot’s VERY nice and twisty. If you don’t much care for “boyz in da hood” type movies, don’t worry – this isn’t one. It’s just a great comic adventure that’ll make you almost fall out of your chair laughing.

I Laughed ’til I cried
By Tom Clancy Fan
This is one of my favorite comedies. Robbins and Lawrence are a really good team; the “spider-freak-out” dance by Robbins, and the goofy security guard routine by Steve Oedekerk were hilarious.

Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins are an amazing duo.
By Mister Hip-Hop
Martin Lawrence, from the instant classic sit-com Martin, as well as other excellent movies and comedy, teamed with Tim Robbins from Shawshank Redemption. There will definitely be worthy results in this movie. It’s a hilarious comedy featuring Tim Robbins as a executive who catches his wife in bed with his boss, and goes for a drive. Martin is waiting to car-jack Tim Robbins, however, he picked the wrong day to do it and Robbins takes off, bringing Martin with him. They rob a couple stores and eventually Tim Robbins concocts a plan to rob his boss, but while in the process of completing this move, he and Martin are trailed by two other criminals, and get into various encounters with them on their way, each one turns out to be hilarious. Just one of those movies you have to witness for yourself, it’s a shame some people are criticizing Nothing To Lose because of the sound equipment used and just the situation in the movie. It doesn’t matter how many times a black/white uniting movie is made just as long as they add something new and refreshing to it that makes it worth watching. And Nothing To Lose does just that. And criticizing a movie just because there’s a little bit of swearing in it? Preposterous, it would be understandable if the entire movie was filled with bad words but this movie is definitely not one of those. In my opinion, this is a very good movie, but putting two talented actors together you shouldn’t expect anything less. Nothing To Lose is a comedic, interesting and just all-around excellent film. This is coming from someone who doesn’t even like movies that much. So listen to my advice, and try out Nothing To Lose, starring Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins.
